Welcome to Startmilen! The race that kicks off the outdoor season for many and is a fun run suitable for everyone. This year, Startmilen is also the district championship (DM) for Southern Svealand in the 10 km road race. No matter where in the country you choose to run Varvetmilen, the result will be seeding for the Göteborgsvarvet 2025. Take the opportunity to start in a better starting group on May 17 when it’s time for Göteborgsvarvet 21 km again!

Highlights

  • The Startmile is run over two laps, and the first lap/first five kilometers was completed in around 18:40.
  • The race is fast and flat, which provides a good opportunity to achieve a strong time for the mile.
  • The Start Mile is divided into respective age categories, including for those 65 and older, but for the Södra Svealands Running Series, the distance is 5 km for 65+.
